THE ROLE:

‍

The Assistant Technical Services Manager will assist in overseeing the technical delivery and service operations within all construction projects. This role ensures that all technical aspects of projects – from design coordination through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support – are delivered to the highest standards. Acting as the bridge between project teams, clients, and subcontractors, the Assistant Technical Services Manager will play a key role in driving quality, compliance, and efficiency across the business.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

‍

• Help lead MEP strategy, coordination, and delivery on complex cut & carve refurbishment involving major structural alterations.

‍

• Assist with managing design integration with architectural and structural elements; oversee clash detection and spatial coordination (BIM).

‍

• Assist in overseeing MEP subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with UK Building Regulations.

‍

• Coordinate procurement and installation of mechanical, electrical, and public health services in live and constrained environments.

‍

• Assist in planning and overseeing the testing, commissioning, and handover of all building services systems.

‍

• Act as key interface between design consultants, site teams, and client stakeholders.

‍

• Mitigate technical risks relating to existing services, legacy systems, and retained building elements.
