Operating through dedicated divisions for listed building and prime residential refurbishment as well as new build and general contracting, the business undertakes some of the most technically demanding projects in the capital, including structural modifications, basements, façade retentions and cut & carve schemes.

THE ROLE:

‍

The Technical Services Manager will oversee the technical delivery and service operations within all construction projects. This role ensures that all technical aspects of projects – from design coordination through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support – are delivered to the highest standards. Acting as the bridge between project teams, clients, and subcontractors, the Technical Services Manager will play a key role in driving quality, compliance, and efficiency across the business.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

‍

• Lead MEP strategy, coordination, and delivery on complex cut & carve refurbishment involving major structural alterations.

‍

• Manage design integration with architectural and structural elements; oversee clash detection and spatial coordination (BIM).

‍

• Oversee MEP subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with UK Building Regulations.

‍

• Coordinate procurement and installation of mechanical, electrical, and public health services in live and constrained environments.

‍

• Plan and oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of all building services systems.

‍

• Act as key interface between design consultants, site teams, and client stakeholders.

‍

• Mitigate technical risks relating to existing services, legacy systems, and retained building elements.
