Our client specialises in commercial interior refurbishment and office fit-out projects, delivering a full range of services from initial concept and space planning through to design, construction and final completion. Their portfolio consists exclusively of CAT A and CAT B office fit-outs and refurbishments, with project values ranging from £10K to £2M. Based in Essex, they deliver projects across London and the South of England.
THE ROLE:
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of office fit-out projects ranging from £10K to £2M. In this role, you will assist in managing the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, designers, contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organised, and have a keen interest in commercial interiors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition from a site-based or trade background into Project Management, gaining hands-on experience within a professional office fit-out environment. This is a hybrid role, requiring the ability to travel to the Essex office while also spending time on-site.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in coordinating multiple office fit-out projects from inception through to completion.
• Support the management of project phases including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction and handover.
• Assist with budget monitoring, cost tracking and basic financial reporting.
• Help maintain and update project programmes to support key milestones and deadlines.
• Support the coordination of contractors, suppliers and consultants on site under senior supervision.
• Assist with client communications, preparing updates and supporting meetings to ensure expectations are met.
• Help ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, building regulations and Loop Interiors’ quality standards.
• Assist in identifying project risks and issues, escalating where necessary and supporting resolution.
• Support final project reviews and assist with documentation for successful handover and client satisfaction.
PACKAGE:
• £35K - £55K (Dependant on experience) + Travel
