THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Senior Pre-Contracts Manager to lead tender and pre-construction activities for London D&B projects, pricing and securing CAT A & CAT B office fit-outs up to £10M while ensuring commercial viability and buildability.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the pre-contracts process from cost planning through tender submission.
• Develop tender strategies and manage pricing, documentation, and submissions.
• Prepare cost plans, programmes, and commercial proposals for pitches.
• Ensure projects are commercially sound and aligned with profit targets.
• Monitor costs during design development and produce detailed cost plans.
• Assess commercial risks, viability, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure buildability and value engineering.
• Confirm compliance with building regulations and CDM requirements.
• Ensure full design packages are ready for contract handover.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to secure approvals and agreements.
• Agree contractual terms and protect business interests.
• Manage internal handover to delivery teams and support throughout the project.
PACKAGE:
• £90K - £110K (DOE) + Commission (2% of GP on each project)
